ACTIONS:
HEPAGUARD
ELIXIR
guards
liver cells against invasion by virus and enhances body
defence mechanism against virus and its toxins, as a result a
good number of patients become virus negative on continued
treatment. The corrective actions of each ingredient (in given
specified potencies) of HEPAGUARD ELIXIR are directed towards
Liver, Gallbladder, Portal System, Spleen, G.I. Tract and
Abdomen. Gradual and persistent alleviation of symptoms
positively indicate that number of patient would become virus
negative on continued treatment with HEPAGUARD ELIXIR.
INDICATIONS:
HEPAGUARD ELIXIR is recommended for Viral Hepatitis,
symptomatic (Acute Chronic) and asymptomatic.

Each
dose should be diluted with at least 25 ml of water
(for which measuring cup is provided with bottle)
and may be taken with meals.

Concomitant
use of Antibiotic and Coffee should be avoided.

is not recommended for prophylactic use.
SIDE
EFFECTS:
Within recommended dosages no side-effects are expected,
however as undiluted or with higher than recommended
dosage, side-effects (because of dispensing alcohol used
as a vehicle,) e.g. Oesophageal errosion and burning
sensation, loose motions, dizziness and hallucinations,
may be expected.
LABORATORY
FINDINGS:
In some cases transitory increase in serum ALT/AST (SGPT/SGOT)
as compared to base line may be noted, which gradually
is reduced toward normal on continuation of medication.
Dosages should not be reduced or discontinued unless
signs & symptoms of liver failure are observed.
COMPATIBILITY:
HEPAGUARD
ELIXIR
is not compatible with intake of antibiotics and coffee.
As a rule intake of antibiotics and coffee should be
avoided while using homoeopathic remedies.
